Kahla grew up in the German community. She was raised bilingual. Kahla was singing with the Kinderchor for many years and participated in trips to Germany with them. At the age of 10 Kahla joined the Rheinische Verein Amazonen and danced with them a couple of years. Kahla’s father is an active member of the Rheinischer Verein and plays with the Fanfaren.
Kahla is a senior at Glenbrook North High School and a dedicated member of the Varsity Cheerleading team. After graduation Kahla wants to go to college and study education. In her free time Kahla likes to work in the garden and paint.
