It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Erich Himmel. Erich was the president of the United German Day Societies of Greater Chicago for over 25 years and dedicated his life to preserving German culture and traditions.
His wake will be this Thursday and Friday at Drake and Son 5303 N Western Avenue from 4pm-8pm. The Funeral Mass will be at 9;30am on Saturday at Queen of Apostles (formerly Queen of Angels), 2330 W. Sunnyside, Chicago.
